Training, assessment and recognition of prior learning — delivered in the workshop you already work in.
Your assessor comes to your workplace, watches the job you already do every day, and signs it off.
The theory is online in RTA Learning, one unit at a time. You keep working, you keep earning, and you finish with a nationally recognised qualification.
Digital, flexo, offset and screen printing. Assessed on your own kit, in your own shop, on the jobs already going out the door.
See the printing pathway →Vinyl and vehicle wraps, digital print, fabrication and install. From the bench to the boom lift, assessed where the sign actually goes up.
See the signage pathway →Every part of picture framing, from customer consultation and design through cutting, joining, matting and glazing to installing the finished artwork. Assessed at the bench, on the framing you're already turning out for customers.
See the framing pathway →Every unit, every deadline, every photo of your work — in one app you already carry. Your supervisor gets their own. Nothing to install from a shop, nothing to print, nothing to post back.
Snap the job as you finish it. The photo goes straight to your assessor and ticks the unit off — no folder, no forms.
Training plans and assessments are signed with your finger, on the phone, wherever you are standing.
Your employer opens their own app and knows exactly where you're up to, without ringing anyone.
RTA Learning is our own learning platform, at learn.rta.edu.au. It runs on a phone, tablet or computer with nothing to download, and opens straight from the app. Every unit is written for printing, signs and graphics, and picture framing.
Every page can be read aloud. Listen on a break, or in the van between jobs.
Say your answer and it's written down for you.
A hint takes you to the part of the reading with the answer, and a small spelling slip won't cost you the mark.
Take the evidence photo and send it from the same screen, while you're at the job.
Your matrix shows every unit, done and to come, with a checklist for your next assessment.
Sign in once with a code, then it's one tap after that.
Call or email. We'll confirm the right qualification, check we cover your area, and explain the funding and any fees.
An Apprenticeship Connect Australia provider sets up the training contract with you and your apprentice. Name Regional Trade Assessments, RTO 45081, as the training organisation. Find a provider at apprenticeships.gov.au.
We send your apprentice a consent form and enrolment form, then build the training plan with you both. Their app is set up and training starts on the job.
Theory online, photos and supervisor sign-off from the job, and assessor visits across the apprenticeship — finishing with a nationally recognised Certificate III issued by RTA.
Regional is the first word in our name. If you're three hours from the nearest college, that's exactly who we were set up for.
